Professional Interests
Dr Levy has been a physician since 1978. He is a Board Certified Fellow in the specialty of Family Practice and a member of American Academy of Family Practice. He has been in practice since 1981 at Family Medical Center at Garland, which is now a division of Health Texas Provider Network. In 2002, Dr. Levy qualified to be an Aviation Medical Examiner. He has been active on multiple committees at Baylor Medical Center at Garland over the years and remains on staff. His particular interest in medicine is primarily general adult outpatient medical evaluation, general pediatric, geriatric care, well women gynecology and outpatient acute care. Dr. Levy also enjoys performing minor office-based surgery and dermatology procedures. For inpatient management, Dr Levy utilizes Health Texas Provider Network Hospitalist specialists. He currently is qualified to do 2nd and 3rd class Aviation Medical Exams for the FAA. Dr. Levy serves his community through participation in Project Access, Friendship House Health Ministries, and Special Olympics.
