Dr. Fullerton has served on the Board of HealthTexas Provider Network since 1995. He was a Board Member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians Foundation from 1997-2002. Currently, he is a Board member of Predisan USA, (medical missions to Olancho, Honduras, which has a full time staff in Honduras of 62 people including health educators, administrative staff, nurses and physicians).
His Academic and Professional Affiliations include American Academy of Family Practice, Texas Academy of Family Practice and the Leadership Institute. He serves as the physician advisor for the Garland Independent School District and is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor for University of Texas School of Nursing.
Professional Interests
Dr. Fullerton is active on numerous committees with Baylor Health Care System, Health Texas Provider Network where he serves as the Chairman of the Quality Committee, Dallas County Medical Society and Family Medical Center at Garland/North Garland where he serves as President. His primary committee involvement has been in the area of medical quality.
Personal Interests
Dr. Fullerton enjoys running, snow skiing, gardening, reading and traveling. "I love my job. It gives me an opportunity to serve others and to be involved in their lives during times of great joy and great trials. I cherish the time spent daily in the patient-physician partnership as we strive to improve their health and prevent disease. It is a sacred trust."
